  • Beginning with the 2026–2027 award year, federal aid regulations included in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act require that student loans for those enrolled less than full time be prorated based on enrollment status. As a result, loan amounts may be adjusted depending on the number of credits a student is taking. In some cases, this adjustment may lead to a remaining balance or a change in the amount of any loan refund.
  • How much outside financial assistance (local/state grants or scholarships) will you be receiving in addition to your Title IV (Pell Grant/loans) funding? Any outside financial assistance must be calculated in your total aid package. VA Benefits, Military Tuition Assistance, and 529 savings are excluded from this category.
  • Students requesting loans must complete Entrance Counseling and sign a Master Promissory Note (MPN). NOTE: These are only required for first-time borrowers. You do not need to complete these steps if you have received student loans in the past.
